Mirai Kodai Orchestra (未来古代楽団, Mirai Kodai Gakudan) is a Japanese artist led by Taketeru Sunamori.

Formed in 2015, the band became popular for their song 'Wasureji no Kotonoha (Forgotten Words)', released in 2016 as the theme song for the game Grimms Notes. For a long time, the group was mainly active in providing music, but in 2023, eight years after their formation, they performed live for the first time and opened a YouTube channel, and have since been active in earnest.

History

Formed in 2015 by Taketeru Sunamori and Miyako Matsuoka.

In 2016, they released "Wasureji no Kotonoha", the theme song for the smartphone game app “Grimms Notes”.

Since then, he has been working mainly on providing songs to singers and producing background music for animation and stage productions.

In 2022, they released 'Wasureji no Kotnohaa /Cradle of Eden' as an independently produced single. This was the start of a full-fledged artist career.

In 2023, they set up an official website and SNS and first live concert, ‘The Infant of Babel', was held.

In 2024, organised the second live performance 'Nishkasar of the Reminiscence'.

Sunamori describes Mirai Kodai Orchestra as "an indefinite unit with no fixed members". This section lists the members who are described as members on the official website.
