2000年のオーストラリアのスーパーツーリングカー選手権は、スーパーツーリングカーに開かれたCAMS認可のモーターレース大会。これは、スーパーツーリングカーのオーストラリアシリーズの8回目の走行であり、同選手権名で争われるのは6回目のシーズンだった。 「2000BOCガスオーストラリアスーパーツーリングチャンピオンシップ」として宣伝されたこのシリーズ[1]は、2000年5月28日にオランパークレースウェイで始まり、2001年2月11日にオランパークレースウェイで8ラウンド後に終了した。

ポイントは、各レースの上位10レースポジションに対して15-12-10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1ベースで付与された。 [2]各予選セッションで設定されたファステストラップタイムにボーナスポイントが割り当てられ、最初の3ラウンドには各レースの個別の予選セッションが含まれる。、残りのラウンドにはそれぞれ1つの予選セッションのみが含まれる。
