「六地平安」の祈念　

The name of Lu'an came from the combination of its leading counties of Lu (六縣) and Anfeng (安豐/安風), which is the quite popular way for the newly founded kingdoms during the Western Han. There is no literature or relic record can prove the existence of the phrase/motto 「六地平安」, which was not popular to the local residents until the late 90's. The motto is originally seen from a series of commercial ads on local newspapers, probably as well as fabricated, by a local winery 「迎駕」(lit.welcome the Emperor). In those ads, as the winery claimed, the Emperor bestowed the name「六安」，in short for 「六地平安」，on the new kingdom.

The phrase/motto 「六地平安」has been proven as a creation by a local scholar, Yao Zhizhong, in 1985. Ref his article, 六安地区历史概要 (皖西史志通讯, p3, Vol. 3, 1985, Issue 2-3). No historical literature or relic showed any similar phrase/motto.————在卧（会話） 2018年11月8日 (木) 08:50 (UTC)
