カルロ・チポラ

カルロ・チポラ（Carlo Maria Cipolla、1922年8月15日 - 2000年9月5日）は、イタリアの経済学者、歴史学者。経済史が専門である。

パヴィーア生まれ。パヴィア大学で政治学を専攻するが、中世ヨーロッパの経済史を教えていたフランコ・ボルランディとの出会いによって、経済史に関心を持ち、ソルボンヌ大学やロンドン・スクール・オブ・エコノミクスで学んだ。ヴェネツィア・カ・フォスカリ大学、トリノ大学、パヴィア大学、ピサ高等師範学校などの教職を歴任した。1953年アメリカに渡り、カリフォルニア大学バークレー校の教授となる。
