This rear fuselage section is the largest surviving part of the Bf110 flown by Rudolf Hess on an attempted (and unofficial) peace mission to the UK in May 1941.
The remains have, until recently, been on display in the Imperial War Museum at Lambeth in London. It is seen in temporary storage at Duxford while the Lambeth museum was being refurbished.
